Well, things look quite shaken up today... Hopefully everyone is fine?

[Unlike other people, who are panicking, or running around, or following legendary pokémon, or fighting with superpowers, Lion is right here at the tea house. Preparing tea. A Lucario (that's Alyssa) seems to be helping out with the preparations.

With so many people arriving, I thought that maybe treating everyone to some tea would be a good welcome.

So if anyone is in Goldenrod, feel free to come by to have some free tea and cupcakes. The teahouse is called "The Steaming Teapot" and it's close to the Pokémon Center.

Yep, Lion us currently sitting in a bench, outside even if it is a little too cold. To their right, there is a very happy, very eager, very very very purple, adorable ditto-blob who just won't stop smiling and blobbing around.]

When I arrived here, it was snowing.

But now it's been a year since I made my first transmission on the pokégear. Since then many things have happened, and I was able to meet people and friends I wouldn't have met otherwise.

Ditto!!!

So I wanted to thank all the people I have had the pleasure of talking to, even those who are now gone and cannot listen to me. Thank you for making my time here such a perfect one.

Dit-Ditto!!! [Lion chuckles, and pets the Ditto's uh. Head.]

Of course, I was talking about you too.


[Lion then turns back to the pokégear with a most important message.] Please everyone make sure of wearing appropriate clothing for this weather, it is still cold outside and we wouldn't want anyone to get sick.

For those in Goldenrod, Lion's Ditto is turning into all kinds of inanimate objects, like books, balls, and rocks. Feel free to wonder why Lion is talking to a rock that is sitting on a bench.]

[Hello Johto! Today in the wonderful adventures of Lion in Johto, we can see the pokémart from outside. Also, a lot of rain. And a Lucario with an umbrella.

Oh, and under the same umbrella, there is one Lion so get in the car.]

Good afternoon, everyone. It has been raining for a while, hasn't it? At least there have been no other side effects, unlike the last times it rained. Hopefully the rainy weather will have subsided by the time we reach Halloween. It would be a shame for it to ruin the celebrations.

But I suppose getting to the point is important right now. If by then the rain has stopped, my group will be flying to Goldenrod on the sixteenth, to join the Halloween celebrations there. As we have less people than we used to, we have a few extra spots, so we wouldn't mind taking two or three more passengers.

The trip shouldn't take longer than two days by flying, so feel free to let me know if you'd like to join us.

[And Lion is back to shopping for the trip. Even if you don't have CR, feel free to hop on the trip if you want a fast ride from Azalea to Goldenrod, Lion is all for meeting new people.]

For those who know him, Will's birthday is coming on the fifteenth. He probably hasn't told anyone, but feel free to congratulate him, I'm sure he will appreciate the thought.

About that, has anyone read or at least seen any mystery novel in Johto that doesn't feel like a pokémon version of one of the novels in other worlds? Or at least any novel that is unique to Johto? I do have a backup plan, but I'd really like to give him a book he hasn't read yet as a gift.

[The transmission starts with a little shaking and some purple gooey thing moving all over, before the camera settles. We are currently in the pokémart, and Lion is doing important stuff. And by that I mean shopping. There is also a Lucario with a shopping basket who seems to be carrying some of the groceries too.
A very happy "Ditto!!" comes from behind the camera, and Lion turns to look at it.]

First of all, I wanted to thank everyone who assisted to the Ice Cream party, and also to those who had the thought but couldn't make it. The party wouldn't have been such a success without all of you.
It was the perfect chance to meet new and old acquaintances in person too, so I hope everyone enjoyed it as much as I did.


I know it has been a while since I last spoke to many of you, and I apologize, but I was handling the last preparations for our departure. We are planning to leave for Goldenrod, and for that we'll take the road trough Azalea even if just to see the city.

If things go as planned and if everyone is fine with it, we should be departing next week or the following one, so if anyone is interested in making the same way and do not wish to make it alone, feel free to get in contact with me, I'd be glad to help, and traveling is much easier in groups.

Does anyone have any warnings regarding the road? I'd like to be as prepared as possible.

[For the rest of the day, Lion can be found shopping for supplies for the trip... It's actually a huge amount of supplies, as the group is bound to get kind of big.]

[OOC: All Seacats cast members who are still in Violet can assume Lion has already invited them to make the way to Azalea together. Everyone else, feel free to join in, since that's how Lion rolls.]

[Today, we open the video feed to see this: :). Yes, that's a ditto.

After a moment the Ditto moves away, to let the rest of the scene be seen. Lion is sitting under a tree's shade right at the beginning of Route 32. Violet City can be seen close by, so it's clear there is still no intention at all of leaving town. Surprising pretty much nobody.
Sitting on Lion's right side and with several implements for preparing tea, we have a very very focused Riolu. We also have a small fire, and a teapot.
And in the background, attempting to dig a hole, there is a Gible, who doesn't notice a thing about this video feed. There is also a Houndoom running around the woods (which explains the fire), but that one cannot be seen in the video feed.]

Good afternoon, Johto.

When I was in Cherrygrove, I had the good fortune of trying some teas that I hadn't ever tried before. I suppose it's only natural that a different world than my own would also have new and different plants and blends.

[At that, Alyssa the Riolu gets up, running to check on the water being boiled.]

I must admit that I have been a bit selfish. But with all the comments about strange vivid dreams, and all the ominous signals of something big coming to us soon, I though that maybe I could share my little secret with everyone.

I have been reading about the herbs used for tea since I arrived to Violet, and I found that one of them is particularly good as a relaxant, and can help people who have trouble falling asleep or who have nightmares.
There seem to be no secondary effects either, so there won't be chances of suddenly falling asleep during work or training.

If anyone is interested in finding about it, I won't mind to share the information I have, just let me know.


[There is a pause here before Lion resumes the talking, this time with a much more serious expression.]

I would like to also ask everyone to be very careful in the next few days, and if possible to avoid being alone or in the roads. I know those who have been here for longer won't have any trouble recognizing the signals, but I wouldn't like the newer people to end up getting in trouble because of this.

Also, if anyone has any information, I would be really thankful if it could be shared with everyone.
