Never giving up on the chance of a Miracle...

[The transmission comes at a strange hour. Usually when Lion broadcasts something it happens late in the afternoon, after work. Today, however Lion asked for a day off work to take a small walk, and it's early afternoon when this message comes in.

For those in Azalea (or those who recognize the looks of the place behind), Lion is sitting in the outsides of the city. Standing a little to the right there is a Ralts, who looks a little sad if you can tell.

A bit in the distance, a Swablu and a Bagon can be seen playing.]

Good afternoon, Johto, hopefully everyone is doing well.

First of all, for those who knew her, Natsuhi Ushiromiya has returned home.
I want to thank all the people who helped make Mother's time in Johto a good one, and I want to ask those of you who received any of her pokémon, to please take good care of them.

[The Ralts looks a little at the pokégear now, and then at Lion, before sitting. Lion smiles at that, before looking back to the gear.]

In brighter news, we are still in Azalea. Things have been quiet, so I'm planning on having a short excursion to Ilex Forest, sinc I read about some very interesting herbs when I was in Violet, and I know some of them can be found there.

I hope everyone is ready to try some new tea blends. I promise they won't be too terrible.

[At that, the Ralts stands to walk to the pokégear to turn it off. Lion chuckles a little, and pets the pokémon as the transmission ends.]

[The transmission starts with a little shaking and some purple gooey thing moving all over, before the camera settles. We are currently in the pokémart, and Lion is doing important stuff. And by that I mean shopping. There is also a Lucario with a shopping basket who seems to be carrying some of the groceries too.
A very happy "Ditto!!" comes from behind the camera, and Lion turns to look at it.]

First of all, I wanted to thank everyone who assisted to the Ice Cream party, and also to those who had the thought but couldn't make it. The party wouldn't have been such a success without all of you.
It was the perfect chance to meet new and old acquaintances in person too, so I hope everyone enjoyed it as much as I did.


I know it has been a while since I last spoke to many of you, and I apologize, but I was handling the last preparations for our departure. We are planning to leave for Goldenrod, and for that we'll take the road trough Azalea even if just to see the city.

If things go as planned and if everyone is fine with it, we should be departing next week or the following one, so if anyone is interested in making the same way and do not wish to make it alone, feel free to get in contact with me, I'd be glad to help, and traveling is much easier in groups.

Does anyone have any warnings regarding the road? I'd like to be as prepared as possible.

[For the rest of the day, Lion can be found shopping for supplies for the trip... It's actually a huge amount of supplies, as the group is bound to get kind of big.]

[OOC: All Seacats cast members who are still in Violet can assume Lion has already invited them to make the way to Azalea together. Everyone else, feel free to join in, since that's how Lion rolls.]

[Today, we open the video feed to see this: :). Yes, that's a ditto.

After a moment the Ditto moves away, to let the rest of the scene be seen. Lion is sitting under a tree's shade right at the beginning of Route 32. Violet City can be seen close by, so it's clear there is still no intention at all of leaving town. Surprising pretty much nobody.
Sitting on Lion's right side and with several implements for preparing tea, we have a very very focused Riolu. We also have a small fire, and a teapot.
And in the background, attempting to dig a hole, there is a Gible, who doesn't notice a thing about this video feed. There is also a Houndoom running around the woods (which explains the fire), but that one cannot be seen in the video feed.]

Good afternoon, Johto.

When I was in Cherrygrove, I had the good fortune of trying some teas that I hadn't ever tried before. I suppose it's only natural that a different world than my own would also have new and different plants and blends.

[At that, Alyssa the Riolu gets up, running to check on the water being boiled.]

I must admit that I have been a bit selfish. But with all the comments about strange vivid dreams, and all the ominous signals of something big coming to us soon, I though that maybe I could share my little secret with everyone.

I have been reading about the herbs used for tea since I arrived to Violet, and I found that one of them is particularly good as a relaxant, and can help people who have trouble falling asleep or who have nightmares.
There seem to be no secondary effects either, so there won't be chances of suddenly falling asleep during work or training.

If anyone is interested in finding about it, I won't mind to share the information I have, just let me know.


[There is a pause here before Lion resumes the talking, this time with a much more serious expression.]

I would like to also ask everyone to be very careful in the next few days, and if possible to avoid being alone or in the roads. I know those who have been here for longer won't have any trouble recognizing the signals, but I wouldn't like the newer people to end up getting in trouble because of this.

Also, if anyone has any information, I would be really thankful if it could be shared with everyone.

[Unlike Lion's usual posts, which look quite prepared and deliberate, there is something... Off about this one. It's only really noticeable if you look for it, or if you know Lion really well, but...
The pillow is a little to the side instead of exactly in the middle of the bed, too. That's big stuff, you know.]

I found Trisa in my room this morning. Battler's number is out of service too... Hopefully this means he found his answer at last.

[There is a short pause here. Lion seems to be looking for words.]

Maria... It seems like there will be one less cousin to our ice cream day. Let's have some extra ice cream in his name, all right?

[Then Lion reaches for the pokegear to cut the feed. There may be a little non-characteristic fumbling with it, but hey.]

[HEEEELLOOOO Johto, this is Lion currently setting the pokégear on the floor, in what appears to be Route 29. After that, Lion moves aside and then walks to the back, where Beatrice is currently sitting on a rock, to sit by her side.]

Ah! Did you just see that??

[Giselle, Lion’s dratini who has previously been seen slapping skarmories and being quite pretty, is currently shining a whole lot. The shining figure eventually grows larger until it becomes a pretty spiffy Dragonair.]

She finally evolved. [Lion gets closer to Giselle, to pet her head. She appears to be both very proud... And very in the need of showing off. So she goes to Beatrice after that, to get some more petting.]

She’s so beautiful... hello Giselle...

[Giselle goes around a little more bragging showing off to let everyone see the changes, before stopping and poking at her now quite short ribbon with her tail.]

And there she is, asking for a new ribbon. [Sigh, sigh forever.]

So this is evolution... Lion, is Darjeeling going to change like Giselle?

That is correct. Houndour evolves into Houndoom... But not all pokémon evolve, it depends on the species, their own willingness and growth.

I see, I see... did you hear, Darjeeling? We need to work hard!

This transmission has changed the topic completely... [Chuckle.] I suppose this will be good enough. We are in Route 29 almost reaching Cherrygrove. From there we will move on to Violet.
