Never giving up on the chance of a Miracle...

[The transmission opens to show Lion, sitting in the outskirts of Goldenrod. In the background we can see a Dragonite (wearing a red ribbon), a Salamence, a Milotic and an Altaria playing around (in varying degrees of "playing nice"), a Lucario is sitting to Lion's right, and a not-suspicious-at-all book on the left.

If the book moves, well that's totally normal. It's just a book. Yep.]

Today it marks two years since I arrived here.

If I look back, I don't think I could've imagined spending this long here, and even less all the things that I've seen and done, or the people I have met.

[There is a thoughtful pause, before Lion smiles once more.]

To celebrate, I have a small question for everyone. It's an easy one, I'm sure almost everyone must have an answer.

What makes you feel happy?

Small things or larger ones, it doesn't matter... Let's talk about the things we enjoy or love.

Well, things look quite shaken up today... Hopefully everyone is fine?

[Unlike other people, who are panicking, or running around, or following legendary pokémon, or fighting with superpowers, Lion is right here at the tea house. Preparing tea. A Lucario (that's Alyssa) seems to be helping out with the preparations.

Lion smiles a bit at the pokégear, while brewing some tea.]

With so many people arriving, I thought that maybe treating everyone to some tea would be a good welcome.

So if anyone is in Goldenrod, feel free to come by to have some free tea and cupcakes. The teahouse is called "The Steaming Teapot" and it's close to the Pokémon Center.

[This is Lion, ladies and gentlemen. Living a normal life, and of course making business, on Fourth Wall weekend xD]

[Hello Johto, have a Lion.

Yep, Lion us currently sitting in a bench, outside even if it is a little too cold. To their right, there is a very happy, very eager, very very very purple, adorable ditto-blob who just won't stop smiling and blobbing around.]

When I arrived here, it was snowing.

But now it's been a year since I made my first transmission on the pokégear. Since then many things have happened, and I was able to meet people and friends I wouldn't have met otherwise.

Ditto!!!

So I wanted to thank all the people I have had the pleasure of talking to, even those who are now gone and cannot listen to me. Thank you for making my time here such a perfect one.

Dit-Ditto!!! [Lion chuckles, and pets the Ditto's uh. Head.]

Of course, I was talking about you too.


[Lion then turns back to the pokégear with a most important message.] Please everyone make sure of wearing appropriate clothing for this weather, it is still cold outside and we wouldn't want anyone to get sick.

[And so, the transmission is over.

For those in Goldenrod, Lion's Ditto is turning into all kinds of inanimate objects, like books, balls, and rocks. Feel free to wonder why Lion is talking to a rock that is sitting on a bench.]

[The transmission comes at a strange hour. Usually when Lion broadcasts something it happens late in the afternoon, after work. Today, however Lion asked for a day off work to take a small walk, and it's early afternoon when this message comes in.

For those in Azalea (or those who recognize the looks of the place behind), Lion is sitting in the outsides of the city. Standing a little to the right there is a Ralts, who looks a little sad if you can tell.

A bit in the distance, a Swablu and a Bagon can be seen playing.]

Good afternoon, Johto, hopefully everyone is doing well.

First of all, for those who knew her, Natsuhi Ushiromiya has returned home.
I want to thank all the people who helped make Mother's time in Johto a good one, and I want to ask those of you who received any of her pokémon, to please take good care of them.

[The Ralts looks a little at the pokégear now, and then at Lion, before sitting. Lion smiles at that, before looking back to the gear.]

In brighter news, we are still in Azalea. Things have been quiet, so I'm planning on having a short excursion to Ilex Forest, sinc I read about some very interesting herbs when I was in Violet, and I know some of them can be found there.

I hope everyone is ready to try some new tea blends. I promise they won't be too terrible.

[At that, the Ralts stands to walk to the pokégear to turn it off. Lion chuckles a little, and pets the pokémon as the transmission ends.]

[Today, we open the video feed to see this: :). Yes, that's a ditto.

After a moment the Ditto moves away, to let the rest of the scene be seen. Lion is sitting under a tree's shade right at the beginning of Route 32. Violet City can be seen close by, so it's clear there is still no intention at all of leaving town. Surprising pretty much nobody.
Sitting on Lion's right side and with several implements for preparing tea, we have a very very focused Riolu. We also have a small fire, and a teapot.
And in the background, attempting to dig a hole, there is a Gible, who doesn't notice a thing about this video feed. There is also a Houndoom running around the woods (which explains the fire), but that one cannot be seen in the video feed.]

Good afternoon, Johto.

When I was in Cherrygrove, I had the good fortune of trying some teas that I hadn't ever tried before. I suppose it's only natural that a different world than my own would also have new and different plants and blends.

[At that, Alyssa the Riolu gets up, running to check on the water being boiled.]

I must admit that I have been a bit selfish. But with all the comments about strange vivid dreams, and all the ominous signals of something big coming to us soon, I though that maybe I could share my little secret with everyone.

I have been reading about the herbs used for tea since I arrived to Violet, and I found that one of them is particularly good as a relaxant, and can help people who have trouble falling asleep or who have nightmares.
There seem to be no secondary effects either, so there won't be chances of suddenly falling asleep during work or training.

If anyone is interested in finding about it, I won't mind to share the information I have, just let me know.


[There is a pause here before Lion resumes the talking, this time with a much more serious expression.]

I would like to also ask everyone to be very careful in the next few days, and if possible to avoid being alone or in the roads. I know those who have been here for longer won't have any trouble recognizing the signals, but I wouldn't like the newer people to end up getting in trouble because of this.

Also, if anyone has any information, I would be really thankful if it could be shared with everyone.

[For all who are out today, Lion is currently sitting in a bench in front of the library in Violet, book in hand, enjoying the fact that the weather is not going mad on us right now.

The pokeshow includes another book identical to the one Lion has (oh, Ditto), a Dragonair with a long blue ribbon who is currently taking most of the bench, and a Riolu who is very very seriously dealing with the packaging of a lollipop.]

Hello everyone. There has been a huge number of people showing the newest additions to their teams, so I thought I could do likewise.

Over there, discovering candy is Alyssa. She hatched last night, and woke everyone up. [Chuckles...] She's a lovely girl, and a quick learner, even if a little too curious. My team has grown quite a bit, so I will have to reorganize the training sessions...

[Meanwhile, Alyssa managed to open her lollipop. Have you ever seen happiness? This Riolu's face is the purest definition of it.]

This weather is perfect to read outside, isn't it?

I'm really enjoying my time in Violet. The library is a great place to spend time, and there appears to be many more books to read than expected. I would recommend it to anyone who has a bit of free time, as there are enough books to cater to all tastes.

Hopefully everyone is enjoying the good weather as we are.

[As the transmission begins, Lion is sitting on the desk of what seems to be an inn room, there are many papers scattered around the table, written in a neat handwriting.
Behind, a rock about the size of a ditto can be seen on the bed partially covered by a blanket, and there is a hoothoot perched on the bedpost STARING AT YOUR SOUL.]

Good night, everyone. I have reached Cherrygrove just before it started snowing again.
I plan on staying here for the next few weeks, probably until spring arrives, I wouldn't like my pokémon to get too cold out there and I doubt I can move too far with all this snow either.

Those of you who have been here for more time, has this kind of winter weather happened before? Is it normal?
