[The transmission opens to show Lion, sitting in the outskirts of Goldenrod. In the background we can see a Dragonite (wearing a red ribbon), a Salamence, a Milotic and an Altaria playing around (in varying degrees of "playing nice"), a Lucario is sitting to Lion's right, and a not-suspicious-at-all book on the left.

If the book moves, well that's totally normal. It's just a book. Yep.]

Today it marks two years since I arrived here.

If I look back, I don't think I could've imagined spending this long here, and even less all the things that I've seen and done, or the people I have met.

[There is a thoughtful pause, before Lion smiles once more.]

To celebrate, I have a small question for everyone. It's an easy one, I'm sure almost everyone must have an answer.

What makes you feel happy?

Small things or larger ones, it doesn't matter... Let's talk about the things we enjoy or love.

[The background is the tea house as usual. Today Lion does not look as cheerful as usual, but that can be very easily explained.]

Good afternoon... I apologize for my absence, but I had a few things to take care of. Fortunately, most is solved now.

For those who were not aware, Beatrice is now gone. I hope everyone who found one of her pokémon will take as much good care of them as she used to...

[There is a small pause here. Lion is usually very composed in these kinds of transmissions, but right now something seems to be bothering them pretty hard. Still, no word is said, and a polite smile quickly takes the place of the worried expression.]


In other news, I've been thinking on making a small trip, to see new places. I haven't traveled much, as I've only gotten up to Goldenrod and no further, and I have a few places I would like to see before Halloween arrives.

So, can you tell me what's your favorite place in this world? That place that you could visit over and over again and never get tired of it.

I'd like to hear about that, if any of you have time for it.

[Today you are being greeted by the most awesome image in the world. Well. No, it's just Lion sitting in the inn bed, with a Ditto who actually looks as a ditto for a change, sitting on the pillow.]

In the end we finally arrived to Goldenrod. I apologize for not letting everyone know before as I said I would, but we have been most busy with several circumstances. [Aka seacats dropping like flies.] And then the festivities took most of our attention.

This is quite the large town, it looks as interesting as I was told it did... I come, however, bearing a few small questions.

Are there any tea houses in Goldenrod? If there aren't, Beatrice and I were discussing the probability of opening a small one here. It would give us both something interesting to do while we are here, and it would be a nice enough place for people to meet and have some sweets.

Are there any rules on placing a business in Johto other than the ones that can be learned at the police station or other obvious places? I would be most interested to know, thank you.

For those who know him, November eleven is Hayate Ayasaki's birthday.
He doesn't seem to be the kind of person who would tell others about it unless asked, so I thought it would be nice to let everyone know so you could congratulate him.

[Then Lion reaches for the pokegear to cut the feed. There may be a little non-characteristic fumbling with it, but hey.]

[Good afternoon, Johto. When the transmission starts, a boy-- gir-- Lion can be seen fixing the pokégear to make sure it stays upright.

Afterward, Lion moves back a little and smiles.]

Good afternoon, everyone. [Have a small bow from the kneeling Lion.]

My name is Lion and I have recently arrived to this place, it's a pleasure to meet you all. I have taken some time to read all the handbooks I found in my backpack, and while I understand what they say about this world and pokémon, I would be really thankful if anyone could provide any information on how or why we were brought here.


[Some noises can be heard from outside of the screen, Lion moves a little and shows the squiggly purple source of the noise to the screen.] This is Ditto, my pokémon. Ditto, say hello to everyone.

[The Ditto readily waves at the camera, whatever happened in the time while Lion was reading the handbooks clearly was traumatic enough to ensure a well educated pokémon.]

Once again, I am grateful for any information that can be supplied, and if anyone is close to Route 29, I will be glad to provide any assistance I can.


[Lion hasn't changed clothes yet as it is cold, so there are a big bunch of one-winged eagles all over Lion's clothing, you people who are aware of the Ushiromiya family can feel free to feel weirded out.
