[The transmission starts with a little shaking and some purple gooey thing moving all over, before the camera settles. We are currently in the pokémart, and Lion is doing important stuff. And by that I mean shopping. There is also a Lucario with a shopping basket who seems to be carrying some of the groceries too.
A very happy "Ditto!!" comes from behind the camera, and Lion turns to look at it.]

Thank you, Ennis, and good afternoon Johto.

First of all, I wanted to thank everyone who assisted to the Ice Cream party, and also to those who had the thought but couldn't make it. The party wouldn't have been such a success without all of you.
It was the perfect chance to meet new and old acquaintances in person too, so I hope everyone enjoyed it as much as I did.

I know it has been a while since I last spoke to many of you, and I apologize, but I was handling the last preparations for our departure. We are planning to leave for Goldenrod, and for that we'll take the road trough Azalea even if just to see the city.

If things go as planned and if everyone is fine with it, we should be departing next week or the following one, so if anyone is interested in making the same way and do not wish to make it alone, feel free to get in contact with me, I'd be glad to help, and traveling is much easier in groups.

Does anyone have any warnings regarding the road? I'd like to be as prepared as possible.

[For the rest of the day, Lion can be found shopping for supplies for the trip... It's actually a huge amount of supplies, as the group is bound to get kind of big.]

Thank you. [Lion sits, carefully laying the materials on the table.]

I was lucky that they still had some paper left.

Aa, that is lucky! [[a big smile]] It does make it a lot easier. This is the one I've been working on for Violet [[slides it over a bit. The detail level on it is pretty insane, but considering he's been in Violet for near two months...]] and one for route 31. [[this one is less detailed, though the side closest to Violet still has that insane level of detail as he's been all over it training his pokemon. The areas not with in a half days travel from the town are much lighter in detail, with a few blank areas far from the road.]] For going faster when mapping, you can do two copies, one with a key like this-- [[and here's a rough draft of the route 31 one, hashmarks marking blocks of trees, straight lines for roads, scribbles in random places and a few question marks.]]

I see, I see... It's much easier to organize everything in that way.

Those maps are really detailed, you've certainly worked really hard on them.

[[mildly embarrassed]] Aa-- it's a fun hobby, so I put a lot of time into it. And having them should be really helpful to everybody. I know a few people have gotten lost in caves and other odd places. Having something like this should hopefully keep that from happening so often.

That's really great, hobbies like this are good to keep your mind active, and it helps train your patience and attention to detail.

I'm sure that these can be truly useful for some people, it's good that you are so willing to share them.

Maps aren't much good if no one sees them. [[points out with a smile]]

But freely sharing information is something not many people do.

Most people here have been really nice about it, though. I've shared a few maps already with people and everyone's really helpful with advice and when you're figuring things out.

That much is true. That is why I always try to do my best to return that kindness and to help those who arrived recently.

This place can be really difficult for some people who come from different worlds.

[[nods]] Yeah. But it's really nice, even for being different. It's just a little tricky, getting used to having to walk everywhere and understanding the pokemon.

It may take a while to get used, but it's still really enjoyable, I must say.

[[nods again]] Yeah. Like being on a long vacation in the country or something like that.

That's right... A good moment to calm down and relax a little.
