21. It only happens once a year. [Video/Action for Goldenrod]

[The transmission opens to show Lion, sitting in the outskirts of Goldenrod. In the background we can see a Dragonite (wearing a red ribbon), a Salamence, a Milotic and an Altaria playing around (in varying degrees of "playing nice"), a Lucario is sitting to Lion's right, and a not-suspicious-at-all book on the left.

If the book moves, well that's totally normal. It's just a book. Yep.]

Today it marks two years since I arrived here.

If I look back, I don't think I could've imagined spending this long here, and even less all the things that I've seen and done, or the people I have met.

[There is a thoughtful pause, before Lion smiles once more.]

To celebrate, I have a small question for everyone. It's an easy one, I'm sure almost everyone must have an answer.

What makes you feel happy?

Small things or larger ones, it doesn't matter... Let's talk about the things we enjoy or love.

Music tends to make me quite happy. My day also gets brighter whenever I receive a smile from a lady. [Which is really quite often.

Pardon me for asking, but is that Milotic truly an evolved form of a Feebas? It's rather... hard to believe.

Yes, Odette evolved from a Feebas. It is a bit of a change, but it's something that happens quite often with certain pokémon.

I still think that her bigger charm is her personality.

Both, actually, but especially while performing.

I see. For me, it's the first time I've seen a Pokémon change so much through evolution. Quite interesting, I have to say... but of course, I look forward to what kind of a personality the Feebas I just acquired has as well.

I see... Performing music is actually a good outlet for a person's feelings and thoughts. A bit like writing, I suppose.

I've seen a few that have grown several times in size, or even changed their forms completely... They are really interesting creatures.

Hopefully your Feebas will be kind and hard-working like mine was.

Fortunately I have quite a few things, so I can't really complain. Simple things like waking up every morning, working hard, and above all seeing my friends and family happy.

It's very important to keep a good outlook in life.

The fastest way to be unhappy is being negative, don't you think?

That's true. I wish more people would realize that.

That is why it's important to share that knowledge with others. It may take time, but I think most people can change with some help.

You're absolutely right. Also, I do hope they will spread the word afterwards. I know I intend to do so with my music.

Six months or so. So far it has been an interesting journey, to say at least. [He can't really say being a Rocket is being treated kindly, after all.] I've met several interesting individuals.

There is plenty to see and do here, that's for certain. And lots of people to meet, even when sometimes we don't have enough time to know them as much as we would like to.

That's true. Sometimes we can be lucky to have arrived in right places - but then there are moments when everyone you want to meet is in a completely different place.

It takes some time to get used to the distances here... Even if this world is smaller than the one I belong to, traveling does take a bit longer.

The same for me. Though at least we have a device like this so we can communicate with others, right?
