isthedeadcat | 17. On Baby Dragons and other irrelevant daily life shenanigans [Video/Action for Goldenrod]

[Well, this is a face that you haven't seen in a while. Of course as usual, everything looks really nice and pretty in Lion's room... It's worth pointing out that there is a very carefully arranged line of varied pokémon eggs, each covered in a blanket, sitting on the bed.

But that's probably what this is all about.]

Good afternoon! Hopefully everyone has been doing well, I apologize for being so out of touch lately, but the final preparations for the opening of the tea house and a few other things have been keeping me quite busy.

[There is a sigh, and a bit of a chuckle as Lion motions at the pokémon eggs.] Unfortunately, I'd say that far too busy.

These are too many children for me to actually give each the attention they deserve, so I'd be most glad if someone could help me by taking some of them, so they can grow with the proper care. The only thing I request is that we please keep in contact so the children can meet their parents if we happen to be in the same city.

There are two Dratini, two Feebas, two Gible, three Swablu and one Bagon egg. They do have quite a few skills passed down from their parents, and their parents are well behaved and hard working pokémon.

Please just let me know if you are interested.

Aw, it sounds cute! How much for one?

[While she's talking, she has to keep pulling her Vulpix back from the tall grass]

No, Vena, you're too little to go there on your own right now.

Your Vulpix seems to be really energetic, miss. [Lion can't help a chuckle, having dealt with a few pokémon like that before.]

I'm selling them for 3000 P, but it's negotiable as long as they get a good home.

She's just really curious and gets into more trouble than she can handle. You don't wanna know how many times I have to call Ren off because Vena went after her tailfeathers. She only hatched a week or so ago!

That sounds like a handful.

The 'Dex says he's a chewer, so I got him a chew toy. I still have to take things he's not supposed to be chewing out of his mouth, though. He's like a little baby!

[And that is the best thing. Rikku wants lots of kids. This works for now]

He's really cute, at least. Ethan, was a lot like that when he was a Gible too... He would bite pretty much everything on his sight.

It took a while to get him to understand that there were things that he shouldn't bite, but he's a lot more well behaved now that he's older.

Oh, goodie. Riku showed me his Garchomp, and I don't think they make chew toys big enough for something that big.

We would need really large toys for a Garchomp. Ethan actually enjoys digging quite a bit, so I always make sure of letting him go out to play.

[Rikku grabs her Breeder's notebook and writes that down]

That's good to know!

And he really likes warm places too. He always liked sleeping up bundled with the other pokémon, it's actually really adorable.

Yeah, he likes cuddling with my Vulpix. And trying to eat her tails when she flicks him.

It's a very particular species trait, I see.

I guess!

[She giggles]

I'm on my way there now, actually! Azalea sounds totally useless, so I'm not bothering with it.

There isn't much to see there unless you want to visit the gym for a badge, that much is true.

So yeah. I left Violet on the eighteenth.

I should be able to deliver it to you on the road... Or would you prefer it if I keep the egg until you arrive?
