[Well, this is a face that you haven't seen in a while. Of course as usual, everything looks really nice and pretty in Lion's room... It's worth pointing out that there is a very carefully arranged line of varied pokémon eggs, each covered in a blanket, sitting on the bed.

But that's probably what this is all about.]

Good afternoon! Hopefully everyone has been doing well, I apologize for being so out of touch lately, but the final preparations for the opening of the tea house and a few other things have been keeping me quite busy.

[There is a sigh, and a bit of a chuckle as Lion motions at the pokémon eggs.] Unfortunately, I'd say that far too busy.

These are too many children for me to actually give each the attention they deserve, so I'd be most glad if someone could help me by taking some of them, so they can grow with the proper care. The only thing I request is that we please keep in contact so the children can meet their parents if we happen to be in the same city.

There are two Dratini, two Feebas, two Gible, three Swablu and one Bagon egg. They do have quite a few skills passed down from their parents, and their parents are well behaved and hard working pokémon.

Please just let me know if you are interested.

A Gible..? [ Saber will tap her chin in contemplation, a strange habit she's picked up as of recently, before giving a nod. ] Yes, that would do well. I was told before that a Gible would suit me well, so I must ask how much it would take for you to part with one.

A Gible is always a good option, they are quite strong, have a good list of resistances, and they have a good appetite and broad taste, so it's never difficult to choose food for them.

The starting price would be 3000P, though I am more than willing to negotiate as long as the child gets a good home.

[Should we do the good old "lol nice voice" jokes? XD]

[ That and Saber is in the market for a dragon to kind of bully around the other one. If she can raise a Gible up strong, then maybe she can luck out with one that help train her other one to be more obedient. ]

Mm. That is no problem for me. [ Even if Saber considers herself to be a good trainer, she can't rip someone off. ] Shall I send one of my own to come pick up the egg?

[ WE ALWAYS CAN. Saber's too serious to comment on it though.. for now! ]

Oh no, it's fine, I can send you the egg if you prefer. You can meet the child's mother that way.

The child's mother... yes, that would be nice. New, but nice all the same. Is that a thing that is common for trainers to do or is it an added touch for your own services?

I don't think all the other trainers do the same, but some may... I just think that the mothers would like the meet their childrens' future trainers.

Then I do not mind introducing myself to her. [ In fact Saber seems pretty content to the idea. ] It will be nice.

Her name is Emma, I'm certain she will be glad to meet you too. She really enjoys meeting new people.

Good, then I will be expecting her eagerly. [ Saber is so happy to meet mamas. ] Hopefully my own are kind towards her.

She has a good personality, hopefully that will help.

It might, it might not. It's hard to determine these days what gets on their nerves.

Oh, that's certainly true... But we can always hope.

I intend for this one to grow up strong and to teach others to be as valiant. I figure if I train it as I would a knight instead of coddling it, that it might grow up this way.

Discipline is really important in raising a pokémon, or at least I believe so.

Sometimes we have to be hard on them for them to learn, but at the same time they have to know that we do care and that we enjoy their company.

Mm, that is right. Have any advice on how to raise a baby whelp?

Baby pokémon aren't really "babies", they are more like children. So one has to put a good example forth, and make sure to tell them what is right and what is wrong.

The good part is that most pokémon have no trouble understanding our speech, so they will understand your explanations and the reasons for the things you do.

I don't think it is too different from dealing with children.

Mm... I have never dealt with raising a child before. [ Saber looks about fourteen despite not only her true age, but the way she composes herself. ] So I afraid I am not very experienced in that either. I will take your words to hear though.

I had a younger sister, so I had to deal with that quite a bit... Pokémon have proven to be easier to reason with than her, however.

[As much as Lion adores said little sister... Well, she had issues with authority.]

I suppose that in the end, it's all up to being clear with them, and setting a good example with your own behavior.

That is all I can do in all actuality. I have tried my best with my emotions and they are aiding with it, yet I feel as though there is more I could do. Lead by example... yes, that does sound excellent.

It has been the most effective way for me.

It's really difficult to learn good manners when the teacher doesn't have them, isn't it?
