[Today, we open the video feed to see this: :). Yes, that's a ditto.

After a moment the Ditto moves away, to let the rest of the scene be seen. Lion is sitting under a tree's shade right at the beginning of Route 32. Violet City can be seen close by, so it's clear there is still no intention at all of leaving town. Surprising pretty much nobody.
Sitting on Lion's right side and with several implements for preparing tea, we have a very very focused Riolu. We also have a small fire, and a teapot.
And in the background, attempting to dig a hole, there is a Gible, who doesn't notice a thing about this video feed. There is also a Houndoom running around the woods (which explains the fire), but that one cannot be seen in the video feed.]

Good afternoon, Johto.

When I was in Cherrygrove, I had the good fortune of trying some teas that I hadn't ever tried before. I suppose it's only natural that a different world than my own would also have new and different plants and blends.

[At that, Alyssa the Riolu gets up, running to check on the water being boiled.]

I must admit that I have been a bit selfish. But with all the comments about strange vivid dreams, and all the ominous signals of something big coming to us soon, I though that maybe I could share my little secret with everyone.

I have been reading about the herbs used for tea since I arrived to Violet, and I found that one of them is particularly good as a relaxant, and can help people who have trouble falling asleep or who have nightmares.
There seem to be no secondary effects either, so there won't be chances of suddenly falling asleep during work or training.

If anyone is interested in finding about it, I won't mind to share the information I have, just let me know.

[There is a pause here before Lion resumes the talking, this time with a much more serious expression.]

I would like to also ask everyone to be very careful in the next few days, and if possible to avoid being alone or in the roads. I know those who have been here for longer won't have any trouble recognizing the signals, but I wouldn't like the newer people to end up getting in trouble because of this.

Also, if anyone has any information, I would be really thankful if it could be shared with everyone.

About two months now! [[longer than he's spent at a few of his former schools, as odd as it is for him to realize that]] It somehow feels like both far longer and far shorter at the same time! [[a small laugh]] How about you?

I've been in Johto for five months and a half. I feel as if I had been here for much longer, on my side.

That long? [[somehow this is amazing to him. Mostly because it's never occurred to him how long people may have been there since most of his friends are either newbies like him or never mentioned it. Whoops]]

Yes... There are people who have been here for over a year now.

Heeeeh, that long? So this can really be a long haul!

Yes, that's right. At least it can be quite enjoyable.

Un. It's been really nice so far, minus a few small things. I wouldn't mind being here that long.

One cannot help but grow a bit attached to this place and to the people met during the journey.

Yeah.... And the pokemon too. [[smiles fondly at the pain in the neck in his arms]] Even after just two months it's hard to think how I'd do without them all and everyone. [[a small impish twinkle as he continues]] Though I'm sure I'd have less headaches! [[laughs, Amane cackling along with]]

Yes, that's true. They can be quite a handful sometimes... [A chuckle.]

But they are also great company, and good friends... And if you are lucky, they are also hard working partners.

[[nods]] Amane-chan's all of that. It's like she's more motivated than I am to work hard and gain levels. She finds more battles to be in than any of the others and she really seems to just thrive on it. Sometimes I think she's the trainer more than I am! [[a laugh]]

She's really motivated, that's a wonderful thing, and it really helps to keep the spirits up.

My Houndoom is a bit like that, always eager to train and find rivals.

[[nods, still smiling]] It keeps you on your toes, doesn't it?

Yes, and always looking for new challenges so he will be entertained.

I haven't done quite so well at that! Though once everyone's at the level that we can tackle the gym, I'm sure she'll be happy as anything. Until then, she just seems to enjoy being a bit of a bully for the lower levels.
