08. On the road! Back. Again. [Video/Action for Route 31]

Good morning everyone. Hopefully everyone is also having a good day today.

Right now I'm back on Route 31, I'm going back a little to meet with someone from my world, but I should be back in Violet in a few days. [Lion did leave letters for Will and the most moe of the Beatos (and there is also a brb letter for Maria which I forgot but Lion wouldn't have), but well, letters are not the best communication method ever so have an extra message guys xD]

We decided to stop a bit, so that Seth could take a rest, he has been working very hard so we can get to our destination as fast as possible. [The pokégear now moves to show a Houndoom, having the best nap in the land of ever (with running in dreams and all the works!). It then moves to show the road.]
This is a nice place to see, now that there are no bug swarms all over; hopefully it will be a nice calm trip, unlike the last one. [Ooooh, you just jinxed it, Lion xD]


I also have a question.

I have been thinking of challenging some of the gyms. The rewards seem good enough, and I'm sure that the skills that can be obtained there would be a good addition to my plans for breeding pokémon.
Do you know which gyms have the most interesting rewards? Both learning and material rewards are good enough, I was just curious to know the opinions of others.


A bit of conversation would also be appreciated, it's been a while since I last was alone on the road.

They were attacking in large groups, something was unsettling them... They even attacked trainers and the cities.

He sounds like quite the schemer, if he were behind such a thing. Wouldn't a natural disaster of some kind, like their nests being disturbed, be a more likely cause?

I would have thought the same in that situation... But it happened all over Johto. Such a big swarm doesn't seem to be something natural.

I see... And even a yearly thing, like a mating ritual of some kind, was proven out of the question?

Yes, that behavior was completely irregular for them...

Yes. I haven't taken that much time to investigate about it, but I'm certain that the people who have been here longer must know more about it.
