21. It only happens once a year. [Video/Action for Goldenrod]

[The transmission opens to show Lion, sitting in the outskirts of Goldenrod. In the background we can see a Dragonite (wearing a red ribbon), a Salamence, a Milotic and an Altaria playing around (in varying degrees of "playing nice"), a Lucario is sitting to Lion's right, and a not-suspicious-at-all book on the left.

If the book moves, well that's totally normal. It's just a book. Yep.]

Today it marks two years since I arrived here.

If I look back, I don't think I could've imagined spending this long here, and even less all the things that I've seen and done, or the people I have met.

[There is a thoughtful pause, before Lion smiles once more.]

To celebrate, I have a small question for everyone. It's an easy one, I'm sure almost everyone must have an answer.

What makes you feel happy?

Small things or larger ones, it doesn't matter... Let's talk about the things we enjoy or love.

Yeah? This place is weird and different, and sure as hell takes a lot of gettin' used to, but there's something to be said about having friends.

As weird as it is, it's very easy to grow closer to others when we are all in the same situation.

Bein' the same species kinda helps too.

Yes, that's right too. It helps everyone communicate.

How're you, by the way? Seems like forever since I talked to you last.

I've been really busy since I got the tea house going, so I haven't paid that much attention to the network.

Other than that I'm quite fine now that things are moving more smoothly. How about you? Have you been well?

Doin' pretty good. Ironhide and I are in Olivine until the weather gets warmer, then it's off to pick up the rest of our badges.

It sounds like a good plan. Do you have many badges left?

Three more to go here. I haven't even thought about Kanto yet.

Then you have plenty to do but also plenty done.

I can't say I'm much into badge collecting myself, other than for some of the extra perks, but it's better than doing nothing.

I admit that by now I pretty much train as a hobby, or an excuse to bond a bit with my pokémon.
