[HEEEELLOOOO Johto, this is Lion currently setting the pokégear on the floor, in what appears to be Route 29. After that, Lion moves aside and then walks to the back, where Beatrice is currently sitting on a rock, to sit by her side.]

Ah! Did you just see that??

[Giselle, Lion’s dratini who has previously been seen slapping skarmories and being quite pretty, is currently shining a whole lot. The shining figure eventually grows larger until it becomes a pretty spiffy Dragonair.]

She finally evolved. [Lion gets closer to Giselle, to pet her head. She appears to be both very proud... And very in the need of showing off. So she goes to Beatrice after that, to get some more petting.]

She’s so beautiful... hello Giselle...

[Giselle goes around a little more ~~bragging~~ ~~showing off~~ to let everyone see the changes, before stopping and poking at her now quite short ribbon with her tail.]

And there she is, asking for a new ribbon. [Sigh, sigh forever.]

So this is evolution... Lion, is Darjeeling going to change like Giselle?

That is correct. Houndour evolves into Houndoom... But not all pokémon evolve, it depends on the species, their own willingness and growth.

I see, I see... did you hear, Darjeeling? We need to work hard!

This transmission has changed the topic completely... [Chuckle.] I suppose this will be good enough. We are in Route 29 almost reaching Cherrygrove. From there we will move on to Violet.

It won’t take us long to reach the next town! I can’t wait to see it!

[And with that, Lion cuts the feed, so Beatrice can keep on getting excited over silly things.]

It's kind of weird for me, I never dealt with someone with that kind of personality, nor human or pokemon, Is that common in kids?

It happens sometimes, when they are shy... They may take a while to get used to other people around, so they tend to get closer to their parents to feel protected.

Are you saying that Opal..thinks about me as her...[She can`t verbalize the last word, it's almost like the single thought of the concept trows a paralyzing weight over Anew's shoulders

After all, how can she know what a mother does if Anew doesn't have a mother to begin with?

She probably sees you as a mother or older sister figure... It's only natural since you were the first person she saw right after her birth.

[But seeing her reaction, Lion smiles in an attempt to comfort her.] Nothing can go wrong as long as you care for her.

Ri-right [After all, she fells like she has done a good job with Lockon and Sky so far]

So-sorry it's just that I never thought about breeding in that way, it feels like huge responsability

You don't have to apologize, it does sound quite intimidating if you see it like that...

But it will be fine, you just have to remember that not only your pokémon are going to learn and grow, you will learn much from this too.

It is intimidating, but you seem to handle it quite well.

[Now she looks to the Dragonair, and the way she pokes at the ribbon] It seems that she likes being dressed up

I was going to be the next head of my family back at my world... So I learned many things that are really useful for the raising of pokémon.

[Giselle is all request-y xD] She does, we bought that ribbon together and she picked it herself... But it looks much shorter on her now. I will get a new one as soon as we reach Cherrygrove.

Most of my experience back home was helpful for me too, since I was a doctor there, and as far as I can remember, none of my pokemon have complained about my cooking skills

Then I guess she will ask for another one if she evolves again, right? [It doesn't stop Giselle from being so cute]

I never learned to cook so most of my food is bought in stores or restaurants... I do miss the homemade food a little, our chef was absolutely amazing.

I'm sure she will need a larger one, yes... But that will take a long wile as far as I know.

Maybe I can give you a cooking tip or two, it's not so hard, you know [Or maybe it was natural for Anew since she was born with that skill programed in her mind]

It's quite fun now that I think about it, specially when the food it's not only for yourself [Even if she's not a presumptuous person, Anew actually enjoys the compliments she gets for her food]

I never had any time to learn back at home. But I would like to learn now that I have plenty of free time. We can do that when I catch up with you, if you would like.

It must be nice to make a dinner for someone you care about.

Right now I'm trying to catch up with a girl that I met over the network , she's in Goldenrod, but I guess that we can meet in Azalea Town

Hopefully the library in Violet won't keep me entertained forever. [Chuckles.]

[A short giggle] Does it feel like a happy prision for you? I remember looking for a distraction from work every time I could, back at home [Her distraction however, wasn't a book ]

I love books, and I can really use more information on the pokémon too... I like keeping myself busy, there is no point in wasting my free time.

Now that I think about it, I have more free time here that I used to, you know back home, it's not like I hated the work I had, it's just that I'm not used to be this long apart from duty. I'm not sure what to make of all this, except taking good care of my pokemon, of course

I am the same, there isn't really much to do here that is not related to the pokémon, so I want to learn as much as possible to keep myself busy.
